I was responsible for day to day work in placing new cable or fiber, underground and in buildings using missiles, trenchers, etc.  Other equipment used included backhoes, excavators (mini & full) loaders, skidsters, dump truck.  Once placed, I then spliced the cable/fiber and tested for the customer.  This also included all paperwork, calling in locates, acquiring permits and training and supervising others. Excellent working relationship with all municipalities. Look up design and make changes using Vovo View. And log in Gps locations.

Read electrical schematics; installed conduit and wired to schematics, then tested.  Drive section motors and all safety switches.  Wired all the lighting in Jetway bridges and jet-power supplies to power up the commercial jets; troubleshoot and built all control panels. AC/DC

 

              Machine Operator

After reading designs, I would get materials needed using cranes or forklifts.  Used certain machines to make parts for Jetway bridges.  This would include: sheet metal to 2” steel. Machines used were:  CNC programmable eye, ½ sheer to ¼ in. sheer; 20 ton press; 20 ton pan press; threader; metal programmable band saw torches; plasma cutter; programmable drill press; hole punch; gage equipment to measure all material and make sure it is to specs.
